This month’s all about Low T/Low L - Libido.

Here! Take a Drink of this Mojotita!!

Is this you: “Not tonight, Honey. I’m having a headache.” Or this: Maybe after a long day at work, cooking dinner, homework with your children .. you need a break. You feel, so tired.

Well, here, take a drink of this .. Mojotita!! What’s that? Well ….

It’s your sexual desire.

When it lowers, it means that you have a low libido or you’re losing your libido. Your Mojo! Clinically, they have a name for this when it happens to women. It’s called hypoactive sexual desire and classed as a female sexual dysfunction. It’s due to a recurring absence of sexual activity or thoughts.

Studies reveal that 43% of women 18 – 59 years old suffer from one or more of the Dysfunctions and having a hypoactive sexual desire – low libido, is one. Listen, it’s more common than you think. 43%, that about 40 million women!

If you’re no longer in the mood, it could be many things causing this. Some influences that you may blame are: (1) life stresses (2) depression, (3) hypertension, (4) diabetes, (5) Irritable bowel (6) thyroid disease (7) cancer, even (8) medication!

When testosterone levels are low it affects: low sex drive, mood swings, muscle mass, low energy, fatigue, erectile dysfunction, lack of motivation to do things.

Testosterone is a sex hormone produced by the body via the pituitary gland in both men and women – Men produce this x10 than women. In men, this sex hormone is made in the testes.

The function is to create male distinctions, like: facial hair, deep voice and sex drive.

When testosterone levels are low it affects: low sex drive, mood swings, muscle mass, low energy, fatigue, erectile dysfunction, lack of motivation to do things!!!

Where's My Mojotita?

Before we get to the drink, it’s good to note some things you can do now:

• I know this sounds cliché, but it helps so much. Diet and exercise. Yes, yes, more berries, watermelons and veggies plus some physical activity, about 3 hours a week. You can do that right? This will not only boost your testosterone level but you might slim down that waistline! Win-win!! LOL!

• Another quickie is to get more sleep. Though sex is a stress buster, so is sleep! So get some Nite-Nite!!

• Speaking of sex, try some “Self-Love!” Yup! Masturbation! Hey, your body doesn’t know the difference and then it comes to expect sex. (As long as you orgasm.) Why do you need to orgasm? So that you can release the dopamine and endorphins into the brain!

Remember, there are several fruits and veggies that are known for their aphrodisiac qualities:

We know that you already know about red wine, avocados and dark chocolate.

It’s good to consume any food or drink that helps to dilate the blood vessels and increase circulation throughout the body. It’s actually very heart healthy.

Well, here’s a recipe that will get the blood circulating in double time – to all the cracks and crevices of your love machine!! OK, get your blender and let’s make your Mojotita!!

1 Mojotita Coming Up!!

INGREDIENTS: 1 sprig of Basil - increases blood circulation everywhere 1 Ripe banana – has bromelain which helps produce testosterone 2 stalks of Celery – has two steroids that act as a magnet attracting us to the opposite sex when we eat celery 2 Figs - are high in zinc and magnesium which help to make testosterone 4 oz Pomegranate Juice – helps to increase the production of testosterone and lower levels of stress 2 handfuls of spinach – high in magnesium which helps to dilate blood vessels. 4 oz water

Try making a smoothie using these ingredients: Ripe bananas, Basil, Celery, Figs, Pomegranate juice, spinach and water.

INSTRUCTIONS: Fill blender with 4oz of water and pour 4oz pomegranate juice. Peel the banana, clean the celery, spinach and the figs. Place all 4 ingredients into the blender. Blend to a smooth liquid. Pour into a glass and garnish with the basil.

Try this smoothie all week, whether complimenting a meal or as a snack in between meals.

Sounds like too much work right now? Ok, I understand.

Just have a glass of Chocolate Milk! Preferred 8 oz. Why? Because chocolate has the chemicals that’s made in the brain, usually when you’re in love. It kicks your mood up 3 notches! Among other things, chocolate milk is very nutritious.
